Echter door dna toe te voegen aan de hartspiercellen kunnen deze zich omzetten in pacemakercellen. Behandeling Het grootste probleem waar de onderzoekers momenteel nog tegenaan lopen is dat de behandeling maar kort werkzaam is. Met andere technieken probeert men een biologische pacemaker blijvend in het hart te introduceren.
